Utilizing the alchemical process, rich Goddess research from a master's degree in Women's Spirituality and Creative Expression, as well as dissertation research in Goddess Consciousness and the Expressive Arts for personal transformation along with my own wonderful experiences of working in women's circles in a variety of capacities combine to create each activity and retreat. The expressive arts, herbal crafting and lore, and the sacred spiral sisterhood add to the magic with the intention to light your fires of creativity, inspiration, and spirituality in the Goddess Tradition.
In retreats and workshops, we use many spirit modalities including meditation, ritual, altar building, plant energetics, and divination along with art and creative projects, no art experience necessary, that will fill our time with laughter, love, focus, and community. Transformation is inevitable. You will access or deepen your creativity and make a stronger connection with your own spiritual practice. We will explore a wide range of creative materials and creative expression in a fun and meaningful way guided by your intention and inspired by your intuition. Held in comfortable surroundings in the Sierra Nevada foothills west of Tahoe with delicious organic snacks and/or meals, and all materials supplied, the retreat will nurture you on every level in a community of like-minded souls.
If you prefer to stay at home, creative activities and daily sparkles allow you to access the sacred from the comfort of your own space. Either route you choose will provide an invitation to your own transformation through creativity and spirituality.

Gaia's Goddess Circles: Retreat into
Creativity, Intuition, and Community
Perhaps the word retreat is a misnomer as our intention is to advance connection, activate creativity for self-expression, and inspire spirituality as we deepen our relationship with nature. Yet, we are using these intentional actions to withdraw into ourselves in order to make space to hear the wisdom of our own soul. In fact, these activities are part of the unraveling towards our truest self - the place of authenticity, expression, and wholeness. Gaia, the ancient Earth Goddess provides our foundation and she offers inspiration to those of us on a quest; we are searching for the sacred mysteries as much as we are seeking ourselves and looking for the deep belonging that is our right/rite. Every retreat is custom and carefully crafted for women on the path. We are so honored to be hosted by the Olde Sage House in the Sierra Nevada Foothills near Grass Valley and Nevada City.
Gaia Magic and Art Camp -
9th Annual Summer Shebang, 2024
For Gaia alumna, this time out of time retreat/reset will focus on our personal Spiritual Autobiographies with a focus on the foundation we stand upon as we explore our own heritage and the indigenous practices of our lineage. As usual, we will dive deep into our soul to listen to our own wisdom through the use of texture, color, image, and sign/symbol through a mythic mindset to put our own stories into art form. Absolutely no art experience needed. The cost for four nights of lodging, 3 meals a day, and all sessions is $599 for double occupancy. The registration fee covers lodging, food, (vegan and vegetarian too) and art supplies. This event is for women 16 years and older. We can accommodate 12 women; a $200.00 non-refundable deposit holds your space. Payment plans can be created to match your needs. Once registration is received an invitation to our community social media group will be sent allowing us to connect through the coming months.
Path of the Soul Seeker, 2024
Are you new to the Shebang Circle? Join an amazing community of magic women as we create a cauldron of creativity and nature magic! Join us for magic-making, ritual, art-making, and communing with nature. Our focus continues to be on bringing our personal stories into form - art form! This event is held in Colfax, California at The Olde Sage House in the forest along the Bear River. Our theme is The Flow of the Mystic: Creative Expression, Art as Prayer, and the Goddess. Mark your calendar for March 27 - March 31, 2024.
We will be creating a visual representation of our Goddess self (no art experience required!) informed by meditation, oracle inquiry, and nature communication. In addition, our usual sparkle sprinkle of ritual, movement, music, lovely women's community, and sacred creativity with an invitation for personal transformation will be part of the program.
